I wrote this last year around the time I wrote Part 3 or 4. Not sure at this point if I'm going to use it. So here's either a deleted scene or preview. I'll know which eventually.

Greatest Journal is officially gone. I guess that means I can't be lazy anymore, and must edit my posts about stuff there to include actual text of those archived stories. In the meantime, here's Part 6 of my AU EQ.

Meet me on the other side of forever.
Wait for me on the other side of the mirror.
I have some things that I must do.
But I will make it there.
And we will do all the things
We always said we'd do.
I know destiny must understand
This is only the beginning of me and you.

To Frenzy or Not to Frenzy. That is the question.
LOL

Referring to the above of course. I have alot on my plate already and all. Fics to write. Stories to write. Work. I'm sick right now.
Still, it's so hard to resist...hm...

So there's this super-cool thread on the Scroll of Colors Forum called Role Reversals. Basically you take characters and place them in eachother's situations, but try to keep the said characters IC while doing it.
So while reading it, I suddenly though - what if I switch Cutter and Rayek's positions in Journey to Sorrow's End? Have the Sunfolk chased out of their home, cross the desert, and tricked by the trolls into being trapped in the forest. The outcome is this fic, which I've dubbed "Flight from Sorrow's End".
I started the fic after a good portion of the early action took place in the original. Right at the discovery of the "other elves". Enjoy!
( Flight From Sorrow's End Part One )
Did I forget to mention that since the positions are switched Rayek gets to recognize instead of Cutter? Oops, my bad. ;D

So I started Nanowrimo with a bang. Day 1 - nearly 3000 words.
But my dog got really sick, and had to stay at the vets overnight and everything. Needless to say, his health took first precedent and Nanowrimo took a back burner. He was doing pretty good by the end of the month. But the end result was 5000 words and not a single post on the Nanowrimo Forum all month long.
So I've set aside In Defense of the Netherrealms. And have returned to the story I was trying to finish before it. About 2/3 through and going strong. It's short, and I can't decide if I love it or hate it. LOL But I'm going to finish it - maybe even before the New Year? Then I'm going back to IDofN, and my New Year's Resolution is to finish it before next November. Because then it will be Wrimo time again.
I'm also determined to work on some Fanfics next year and finish them off! (My Winx Club fic comes to mind...started back before there was a season 2 and now happily AU...) I also just started an EQ one, which - admittedly - also had to do with my distraction from Nanowrimo. Though not overly much. More on that to follow.

How much sense these are making is downright scary.
What's scary is it kind of looks like it makes sense too.
I can live with that.
LOL
The Kaiju Film Reigns Again! I guess it got deleted because of listing the names of Godzilla, Rodan, ect. Whatever!
Things I do when I'm bored: Make silly quizzies.
I am currently bored, so I created this:
It might actually end up being useful. LOL
No, wait, Islana - you are the heroine! How can you swear to kill them?
On the other hand maybe it won't be useful...
Though you might be able to control minds since you're the queen of the netherrealm now....hm....

And of course I can't forget my attempt at Script Frenzy - The Imperial Sceptre Partly based off of a section of Romance of the Three Kingdoms. Here's the plots and the first scene.

I don't want to repost Saurian here because...I'm lazy. Besides, the other journal is still up, so why not use it's pages? Here's the links to the beginning of my 2006 Nanowrimo attempt - Saurian
Title: Saurian (Working Title)
Genre: Sci-fi
Synopsis: The Redstone Medical Center is supposed to be a place where those with mysterious illnesses could live a semi-normal life while being treated. But new arrivals Caitlin and Bobby Jones are quickly drawn in with other patients at the facility who believe they aren't being told the whole truth.
What is the true purpose of the medical center? What do all who are brought there have in common? And if they aren't truly ill, what is happening to them? The answers to their questions may not be as hard to find as they first believe, but what to do next is another matter entirely. Because there are those who would do anything to keep the truth a secret...

I decided to take up a challenge in the Fantasy-Challenge thread on the Nanowrimo board. Don't know if someone beat me to it because Nanowrimo is currently down. So I'm posting it here.
The challenge - In under 350 words, write a story including a turtle, a beekeeper, and a box of chocolates.
So here it is.

Apparently GJ is defunct. Which I would have known if I visited that journal more than once a year. Heh heh...
Where did the donuts come from?
Which strangely makes sense...
Which frighteningly makes sense again...

Wow...I haven't posted in this journal for almost...two years? I'm sorry about that. I was thinking of using this to post my stories in because my GJ doesn't seem to be working at the moment. Not sure why. But as I've decided to to Nanowrimo again this year, I really want someplace to put my stories. So I guess I'll be fixing this one up over the next few weeks to take the place of my original one on GJ.

Belated though I am. Happy New Year Everyone!
And Merry Christmas! (Late for some, early for those who celebrate Christmas January 6th)
Yep, my new Quiz. A JE Christmas Carol...I'm not so sure about Yuya playing Scrooge and Mr Fezziwig, though...
LOL
Maybe I should just make Tokio and Kinki Kids the possible answers for Fezziwig, what do you think? Hm...

Six ghosts a-laying
Five ca-a-a-akes
Four video games
Three comic books
Two kinki kids
...and an anime in a pink lady.
